Legoland

We had our first trip to Legoland today! We don't have many pictures because they are all on our nice camera.

I can tell you that after waiting in line for 10 minutes we were kicked out of the horse ride in Castle Hill. The lady asked how old Burke was and he said three. The ride was for four and up and there are no exceptions. I was devestated. Burke had to console me. He said "don't worry momma, it's going to be okay".

Solo morning stroll

I set an alarm for sunrise to go on a walk. It's been two hours and my family still isn't up. 

Night swim

Tonight we went back and forth between the pool and the hot tub. 

In the pool he got swam into by a bigger kid. He cried. We took a moment to compose, and once he felt better we got right back in that pool! Bad things happen, he's got to learn to move on!

And he did. He ended up chatting up some older cuties until I felt bad for them and whisked him away to the "Shark Doctor". 

Beach!

We had a successful drive to Carlsbad. I pointed out a "Woodchip" in Maricopa, then I realized that's not a thing. We stopped in Yuma for gas and McDonalds. Burke poopooed in the potty. Then...three hours later, Burke saw the Pacific Ocean for the first time. 

He loved it! He was fearless. We had to hold him back from running into the deep. 

It's not Disneyland!!!

If my family is traveling it's probably to Disneyland. But this time.... It's not Disneyland! We are heading to Carlsbad, CA. We packed the night before. We took it easy this morning. And now we are hitting the 101. Very excited!
